Anna Gerencsér was awarded the 2nd prize at the Review Writing Competition Müpa Karc

In 2017/2018, Müpa had announced Karc, its review writing competition for young critiques.

The reviews of the applicants were judged by a professional jury consisting of Gábor Bóka, journalist at Opera-Világ, Endre Dömötör, editor of the pop music magazine, Recorder, Leonóra Mörk, editor-in-chief of the magazine ELLE, Balázs Weyer, director of Hangvető Ltd. and the journalist, Kornél Zipernovszky. The jury was chaired by the aesthete Sándor Radnóti,

Candidates – all under 30 – were to select a production organized by Müpa in the Season 2017/18 and were to write a review about it no longer than 6000 characters each.

Based on the decision of the jury, Anna Gerencsér, freshman at the Musicology Department of the Liszt Academy, came second at the contest.
