Out of the three categories at the National Wieniawski Violin Competition organised in Győr between 27 and 30 October, two were conquered by the students of the Liszt Academy: Máté Soós came first in the B.A. category, while in the M.A. category, Miranda Liu was awarded the first prize.

Besides the first prizes, our students collected also other accolades: in the B.A. category, Eszter Kökény was runner-up and Anna Gál-Tamási was awarded third place, while in the M.A. category, Boglárka György came second.
