Composers, instrumentalists and students hold a biweekly forum to discuss pieces of their own or written by other composers, talk about their ideas, tendencies and anything they, as creators of contemporary music, consider important.

 

International and local composers (previous guests include (students) Kutrik Bence, Balogh Máté Gergely, Tornyai Péter, Solti Árpád, and (composers) Huszár Lajos, Bánkövi Gyula, Zombola Péter, Csapó Gyula, Gryllus Samu, Tsao Ming, Luigi Verdi, Richard Dudas, Kjartan Ólaffson and Vajda Gergely.) are often invited to join the conversation.

 

On 26 May, the department's next guest holding a lecture will be Paolo Furlani, professor at Conservatorio di Musica “Luigi Cherubini” Firenze
