Zsombor Eszenyi and Balázs Sándor’s Acclaim in Győr

The 8th ECA Festival International Clarinet Competition was held in Győr on 28 and 29 August, 2018. In Age group I, student of the School of Exceptional Young Talents, Zsombor Eszenyi (teachers: Béla Kovács and Zsolt Szatmári) came first, while in Age group 2, 2nd-year student of the MA programme of the Liszt Academy, Balázs Sándor (teachers: Zsolt Szatmári and Csaba Pálfi) was placed first.

Besides the main prizes donated by Hangszerklinika and Buffet Crampon, both students won special prizes granted by Ongaku Records and Fon-Trade Music.
