Encuentro 2014 Audition – Summer Academy in Santander


Encuentro was founded thirteen years ago with the objective of meeting exceptionally gifted young musicians to play with the best professors, on the highest professional level. Young artists are expected from the most prestigious European schools and academies, following a personal audition with the Artistic Director, Péter Csaba.
The effectiveness of the program, that combines solo performance with chamber music and symphony orchestra, may be judged in terms of the success of the young participants enlisted by the best orchestras in Europe.
The Summer Academy of almost 4 weeks is for violin, viola, cello, double bass, flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, horn and piano and located in Santander, Spain
The Festival covers all the cost (travel, accommodation, per diem)
Date: 1st -23rd July, 2015
Place: Santander (Spain)
Time of audition: 2nd and 4th February 2015; from 3 pm
Place of the audition: Budapest, Liszt Academy of Music, Main Building, Room X.
Students are expected to bring a CV/biography in English and a high definition photo.
Strings and piano audition: max. 20 mins, 2 pieces (one classical and one romantic/C20th) + few min. talk with Maestro Csaba
Winds audition: max.15mins, 2 pieces (one classical and one romantic/C20th) + few min. to talk with Maestro Csaba
