Studies:
1994: diploma in choral conducting, Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music (teachers: Valér Jobbágy, Péter Erdei)
1998: diploma in conducting, Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music (teachers: Ervin Lukács, Tamás Gál)
Master classes with Jürgen Jürgens, Johannes Moesus and Yuri Simonov
2015: DLA degree, Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music – doctoral dissertation: Szövegábrázolási technikák és motívumok Franz Schmidt: Das Buch mit Sieben Siegeln című oratóriumában (Techniques of Text Representation and Motifs in Franz Schmidt’s Oratory “Das Buch mit Sieben Siegeln”)

Choir conducting and other activities:
1992-2009: leader of the Vasas Artists Ensemble Choir (with a lapse of two years)
2002: he has founded the Lajos Vass Chamber Choir, which he conducts up to this day
2000-2003: conductor, and from 2004 music director of the Csokonai Theatre of Debrecen
2004-2007: music director of the National Theatre of Pécs
2009-2013: chief choir master of the Hungarian Radio Chorus
Since 2012: president of the of the Arts Committee of the Association of Hungarian Choirs, Orchestras and Folk Ensembles (KÓTA)
Since 2013: choir conductor of the Liszt Academy’s Alma Mater Chorus

Major concerts:
For the last more than 20 years he has been invited as a guest conductor and choir master to several Hungarian symphony orchestras and professional choirs; he has also been a regular jury member at music festivals and competitions.
He guest conducted the Philharmonic Orchestra of Salerno (Italy) and the Sakata Philharmonic Orchestra (Japan).
As a guest choir master, he performed with great success in Spain, Italy, Russia, Romania, Greece, Macedonia, Austria and Germany, among others.

2014: Liszt Ferenc Prize
2020: Hungarian Order of Merit Knight's Cross, Civil Class

With the Lajos Vass Chamber Choir:
2002: 1st prize in Preveza (Greece)
2009: 1st prize in Ohrid (Macedonia)
2014: 1st prize and Grand Prize at the "Venezia in Musica" International Choir Competition in Caorle/Venice (Italy)
