Winners of the Bank of China scholarship for the academic year 2018/2019
Ten students of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music have received the scholarship offered annually by the supporter of the Academy.
The application for the scholarship announced for the academic year 2018/2019 by the Bank of China (Hungary) Closed Ltd., the Friends of Liszt Academy and the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music was open till 9th December, 2018 for exceptionally talented Hungarian and international full-time students enrolled at preparatory, BA, MA, TMA or one-tier performance courses. The amount of the scholarship is 500.000,- HUF per winner.
Students were chosen by a board consisting of representatives of the Bank of China (Hungary) Closed Ltd., the Friends of Liszt Academy and the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, the winners are:
- Flóra Csőke – cello, BA I
- Máté Herczeg – oratorio and Lied, MA II
- Gergely Kovács – piano, MA II
- Xiaoxi Liu – clarinet, MA I
- Ayumu Maehara – piano, MA I
- Eveline Meier – violin, MA I
- Márton Nagy – guitar, BA III
- Gábor Németh – violin, MA II
- Gábor Rónai – trumpet, MA I
- Ildikó Szabady – flute, MA I
