A national saxophone day was organized at the Bartók Conservatoire in conjunction with Alvaro Collao León’s two-day teaching programme.

One of the aims of the scientific workshop established at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music is to explore the past three hundred and fifty years of Hungarian music culture in a regional context. Lilia Pocitari won the first prize of 22,000 euros at the 2023 Bartók World Competition of Liszt Academy on Sunday.

The delegation – led by Hajime Furuta, the governor of Gifu Prefecture – held discussions with Dr. Andrea Vigh, rector at the Liszt Academy, about continuing the nearly 30-year-old cooperation as well as the participation of the institution at a festival in Japan next year.

The Liszt Academy officially opened the 2023/2024 academic year in the presence of first year students and the university’s management.
