15 November 2018

A week-long musical festival is held in Poland celebrating world-renowned Polish composer Krzysztof Penderecki’s 85th birthday.

In the concert series held between 16 and 24 November in Warsaw and Kraków, 13 world-famous conductors and 87 soloists participate, including Gábor Boldoczki, associate professor at the Liszt Academy, who plays the celebrated master’s Concertino composed in 2015 (and dedicated to Bodroczki), and Joseph Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto, which is performed with Penderecki’s cadences.
