Liszt Academy Chamber Music Department hosted in Rome

Márta Gulyás holds a master class and the two chamber groups of the Liszt Academy perform at the Hungarian Academy in Rome on Friday 19 February.

On 19 February, Márta Gulyás, associate professor at the Chamber Music Department, holds a piano and chamber music master class from 10 am – 1 pm, and 3-6 pm on 19 February.

 

Master class programme:

10-11 am: Claudia Scatena Beethoven: Sonata in E major, op. 109; Bach: Toccata in E minor, BWV 914

11 am - midday: Simone de Baptistis Chopin: Sonata in B minor; Beethoven: Sonata in F minor, op. 57

midday – 1 pm:  Irene Boschi Schumann: Papillons, op. 2

4-5 pm: Silvia Ancarani trio Beethoven: Trio in C minor, op. 1 No. 3

5-6 pm:  Elena Califano, Emanuela Zanghi, Alessandro Melone Beethoven: Trio in C minor, op. 1/3

 

From 8.30 pm two noteworthy chamber formations of the Liszt Academy, the cello-piano duo of Krisztina Baksa and Márton Takáts, and the piano trio of Csongor Kőrössy-Khayll, Gergely Devich and Ádám Balogh, give a concert. Their programmes include pieces by Beethoven, Shostakovich, Mendelssohn and Piazzola.
