Here’s the chance to be a YAMAHA scholarship holder

The Yamaha Music Europe Foundation announces a scholarship for CLASSICAL PIANO students of the Liszt Academy.

As one of the world’s largest music instrument manufacturer, Yamaha is dedicated to support music education. Since its foundation in 1989 the Yamaha Music Europe Foundation has supported music students from 32 countries with more than 1000 scholarships and a total of 1 million euros was awarded to young musicians in various instrument categories.

In the 2023–2024 academic year, the one-year scholarship of the Yamaha European Music Foundation is EUR 2,000. The grant is to be paid in one sum and can be used for any purpose.

PRE-SELECTION

Date: Monday 22 January 2024, 10:00-21:00

Place: Solti Hall

Audition materials: 15 minutes long freely chosen piano piece or pieces

 

FINAL SELECTION

Date: Tuesday, 23 January 2024, 14:00-17:00

Place: Grand Hall

Audition materials: 25 minutes long freely chosen piano piece or pieces (DIFFERENT style and genre than the programme played at the pre-selection)
