-;-Judith Jáuregui (zongora)
Recognized by critics as a brilliant, elegant and personal artist, Judith Jáuregui has become one of the most valued figures in the Spanish musical scene. Born in San Sebastian in 1985 Judith began her studies at the local conservatory, where her talent shone through at a very early age, and made her debut recital when she was only eleven. She completed her studies with Claudio Martínez-Mehner before undertaking a Postgraduate degree at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich, where she worked under the great Russian maestro Vadim Suchanov. She has also received guidance from relevant figures including Elisso Virsaladze, Vitaly Margulis, Philippe Entremont, Boris Berman and Joaquín Achúcarro. In recent years Judith has been invited to major Spanish concert halls and festivals such as the National Auditorium in Madrid, or the Auditori in Barcelona. On the symphonic concert circuit she has collaborated with, amongst others, the Spanish National Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra or the Simón Bolívar Orchestra of Venezuela. Her latest record titled 'AURA', with music by Liszt, Debussy and Mompou and released by BerliMusic, a label created by the artist herself, is enjoying widespread acclaim. This success follows her first album dedicated to Schumann (Columna Musica), which won the Best Classical Album prize at the Spanish Independent Music Awards.
